Blog Tips

Hello, students! Great job with the blogs so far. Here are some tips to keep in mind as you add new posts.

1. Use "real" grammar. Spell words the way they are supposed to be spelled, punctuate sentences the same way you would in other school assignments, and capitalize all proper nouns.
2. Read your entries aloud before posting them. Sometimes reading something aloud will help you catch mistakes that you wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
3.Preview your blog before you post it so that you can see what the format looks like. (Click "Preview" in the right corner of the text editor. Then click "Hide Preview" edit your blog, or click "Publish Post" to post it.)
4. Check out your friends' blogs. You might be able to give them some helpful feedback -- and even find out about a new book to read!
